When I first set out to build Zoipi, I fell into the classic builder trap, I wanted it to look sleek and flashy. I focused on sparkling cards, modern animations, and dynamic UI that felt great to click through on desktop.

Then reality hit , As a builder constantly experimenting with AI workflows, MCP servers, and new stacks, I realized I wasn’t using directory sites for their slick animations. I used them when I needed answers fast: What does this tool do? What does it actually cost? Where is the direct link?

Worse, my initial design was actively sabotaging discovery. Heavy client-side rendering and interactive accordions looked cool, but search engine bots and modern LLMs struggled to parse what mattered.

So I scrapped the flash and rebuilt Zoipi with a single goal: prioritizing SEO (traditional) and GEO.
