VaultlyKeep
Save receipts. Track warranties. Stay ahead.
My last post about VaultlyKeep generated some genuinely useful discussion.
But it also taught me something I probably should have expected:
Talking about a problem is much easier than changing your behavior to test a solution.
A few people had thoughtful conversations with me about how they store receipts, warranties, and purchase information. Some even asked for the product link.
But most never created an account.
That is useful feedback in itself.
At this stage, I don't need another 20 people telling me that keeping receipts is annoying. I need a small number of people who are willing to actually put VaultlyKeep into their normal purchase workflow and tell me where it breaks down.
So I'm looking for 5–10 serious testers.
VaultlyKeep is a browser-based product for keeping receipts, purchase details, warranty information, return windows, and supporting documents connected to each purchase.
If you want to help, I'm asking for more than opening the homepage.
I'd like you to:
1. Create an account.
2. Save at least one real receipt or purchase record you would genuinely want to keep.
3. Try the warranty or return-window workflow if it applies to that purchase.
4. Come back to VaultlyKeep again rather than treating it as a one-time demo.
5. Tell me where you hesitated, got confused, felt unnecessary friction, or thought, “I would never do this every time I buy something.”
I'm especially interested in criticism.
For example:
* Was creating the first receipt too much work?
* Did VaultlyKeep give you a reason to use it instead of Gmail, photos, or another system?
* What part felt useful enough to return for?
* At what point did you consider abandoning the workflow?
* What did you expect the product to do that it currently doesn't?
I'm not asking anyone to pretend they like it.
If VaultlyKeep isn't useful enough for you to come back after the first receipt, I want to understand why.
You can try it here:

If you test it, please come back to this thread and tell me what actually happened — even if the answer is that you stopped using it after five minutes.
About
I’m building VaultlyKeep to help people organize receipts, warranties, return windows, and purchase proof in one place, while learning what makes the workflow useful enough to become a habit.

That’s exactly the distinction I’m trying to get clearer on.
So far I don’t have enough real usage to say confidently which drop-off is bigger. I want to separate people who never create the first real purchase record from people who do, but don’t see enough value to come back.
That’s a big reason I’m looking for testers who will actually use VaultlyKeep with a real purchase rather than just look around. Once I have a few doing that, I should have a much better answer.
That’s useful. I’m also trying to separate founder intuition from actual consumer behavior here.
Out of curiosity, how do you personally deal with receipts or warranty information for purchases you might need later? Have you ever had to dig one up after months or years?
