Valentina Studio is the free, all purpose database management tool suite. Valentina Studio PRO adds more powerful diagramming features, more powerful visual builder tools for databases, forms creation, reports designer and more. Improvements include:

• [New][SQL Editor][Pro] Visual EXPLAIN (of SQL). Works with all databases that support this feature (not available for MongoDB or SQLite). You can try it in Studio Free Edition up to 3 times per launch.

• [New][Data Editor] New button to easy locate a Field you need. Helps when a table has many fields.

• [New][Schema Editor] Link objects of all types now have the contextual menu item: “Open Data Editor”. Double clicking a Link also automatically opens it in the Data Editor, similar to Table objects.

• [Imp][Schema Editor] For ValentinaDB, adds a confirmation dialog, related to the ‘Compressed’ checkbox in the Inspector panel.

In September 2025, Paradigma Software officially added support for custom extensions (including C, C++, Python, and JavaScript) to create custom functions and procedures in Valentina 16. Paradigma Software offers code examples, including free extensions on the Paradigma Software repository on Github.

Valentina Studio is the free, all purpose database management tool suite. Valentina Studio PRO adds more powerful diagramming features, more powerful visual builder tools for databases, forms creation, reports designer and more. Improvements include:

• Query Editor Live Diagramming. Edit query text that immediately updates the diagram. Paste a query into the right panel to get started. Other improvements include the Where/Having columns allowing you can type conditions starting with the operator.

• Valentina Studio for Windows ARM64. A native version for the ARM64 platform is now available. A Valentina Studio for Windows license will work on either x64 or ARM64 hardware running Windows.

• Data Transfer. Added support for transferring records in batches, improving transfer speed over the network. Supports a configurable number of records per batch. Ability to use multi-row binds for Valentina DB, DuckDB, and SQLite. The configuration is saved in the mapping file.

• Expanded Scripting Documentation. Adds a Scripting section to the documentation which explains topics such as the mechanisms of signals and slots, Events and logging with numerous Python and JavaScript examples.

• [New][SQL EDITOR][AI] Attach a query result as context to the SQL Editor AI chat window using the menu Attachment button > Query Result. The Query Result is what you get in the SQL Editor after successful execution of a query. The AI chat window sends the Query Result in the form of CSV text (which you could get by using the Export button). Tip: Avoid sending huge results ( million records, etc ) to the AI as it will consume more tokens.

• [Imp][Query Editor] The Where and Having cells now display only the right portion of a condition to be more compact

• [Imp][Query Editor] Tooltips display the keyboard shortcuts of the Execute button based on Settings

• [Imp][Form Editor] Adds the text property to QLabel class definition
