Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on a small web app called TomatoVynl.

It started from a simple thought: most Pomodoro timers work fine, but they all feel a bit generic. I wanted to build something more pleasant to use, mixing a minimal focus timer with a stronger visual identity and a music-first atmosphere.

So I made a simple timer with:
25/5, 50/10 and 90/20 focus modes,
ambient sounds,
curated radio stations (still working on this),
a vinyl-inspired interface,
and no login or setup friction.

Right now I’m in the phase where I’m less interested in adding random features and more interested in understanding whether people actually enjoy using it while working or studying.

A few things I’m trying to learn:
What makes people come back to a focus timer?
Do music and ambient sound help, or do they distract?
Is a more visual interface a real advantage, or just a nice layer on top?
