September 18, 2026 AI Can Create Content. But Does It Understand Your Business?

There's no shortage of AI tools that can create a social media post, write an ad, generate an image, or come up with a headline in seconds.

That's impressive.

But we've been asking ourselves a different question while building PersonaXpand:

Does the AI actually understand the business behind the content?

Because creating content is relatively easy.

Creating content that makes sense for a specific business is much harder.

A good marketing message needs context.

Who are you trying to reach?

What are you selling?

Why should someone care?

What makes your business different?

Who are your competitors?

What are you actually trying to achieve with the campaign?

Without that context, AI can produce something that looks good but says very little.

And that's one of the things we've been thinking about with PersonaXpand.

Context before content

We don't want to start with:

“Write me 10 social media posts.”

We want to start with the business.

Understand the audience.

Look at the market and competitors.

Understand what the business is trying to promote.

Then use that information to help shape the marketing strategy and content.

Because the goal isn't to generate more content.

The goal is to generate more relevant marketing.

There's another side to this.

We also don't think AI should simply make every marketing decision and send everything live automatically.

AI is good at analysing information, finding patterns, making recommendations, and producing content quickly.

But the person running the business still knows things the AI may not.

That's why we believe in a simple approach:

AI does the heavy lifting.
Humans stay in control.

PersonaXpand continues to evolve as businesses use the platform to plan, create, and manage their marketing.

And I'm curious what others think.

What's more important to you when using an AI marketing tool: speed, quality, or understanding your business context?

And have you ever used an AI tool that produced something technically good but completely wrong for your business?

September 17, 2026 We Built It. Launched It. Now We're Learning How People Actually Use It.

A few weeks ago, I shared why we started building PersonaXpand.

The idea was simple:

Marketing shouldn't feel like a full-time job.

At that point, we were focused on building the product and figuring out whether we were solving a real problem.

Now things are different.

PersonaXpand is built, launched, and live.

It's available on the App Store and Google Play, and real businesses are already using it.

And honestly, this is where things have become much more interesting.

Building is one thing. Watching people use it is another.

When you're building a product, you naturally think about how people should use it.

Once real users get their hands on it, you quickly discover how they actually use it.

Some things we expected to matter a lot don't get as much attention as we thought.

Other parts of the platform that seemed straightforward turn out to need more explanation or refinement.

We're seeing where users move quickly.

Where they pause.

What they understand immediately.

What they ask questions about.

And, most importantly, what they actually find useful.

That's giving us a completely different kind of product feedback.

One thing we're learning

AI can generate a lot of things very quickly.

But speed isn't the same as usefulness.

For a marketing platform, the output needs to make sense for the business, audience, brand, and campaign objective.

That's why we're paying close attention to the entire workflow rather than just asking:

“Can the AI generate this?”

We're asking:

“Does this actually help someone get their marketing done?”

That's a much harder question.

And probably a more important one.

We're still improving

We're continuing to refine PersonaXpand based on what we're seeing from real users.

That means improving workflows, making certain decisions clearer, refining outputs, and removing unnecessary steps.

We're also learning that building a product doesn't really end when you launch it.

Launch is just the point where you start getting better information.

So that's where we are now:

Built.
Launched.
Being used.
Still learning.

And we're going to keep sharing what we learn along the way.

For founders, marketers, and people building SaaS products:

What's something you only learned about your product after real customers started using it?

I'd genuinely like to hear your experience.

September 5, 2026 We’re building PersonaXpand because marketing shouldn’t feel like a full-time job

Hey All 👋

One thing we kept seeing with startups and small businesses:

They know they need to market themselves.

But actually doing it is a different story.

You need to understand your audience, decide what to promote, research competitors, create content, run campaigns, manage ads, and keep doing it consistently.

For a small team, that can quickly become overwhelming.

So we decided to build PersonaXpand.

What is PersonaXpand?

PersonaXpand is an AI-powered marketing platform designed to help businesses go from “I need to market this” → to an actual marketing campaign.

The idea is simple:

Turn Every Customer Into a Conversation.

Instead of jumping between multiple tools, PersonaXpand brings key parts of the marketing workflow together.

You tell it about your business and what you want to promote.

PersonaXpand helps with:

  • Understanding your target audience

  • Identifying the right campaign approach

  • Researching competitors and market positioning

  • Creating campaign strategies

  • Generating marketing content

  • Creating campaign visuals

  • Supporting Google and Meta advertising

  • Recommending how to allocate your advertising budget

The important part for us is that AI doesn't completely take over the decision-making.

We believe humans should stay in control.

AI can analyse, recommend, and create.

You decide what actually goes live.

Why are we building this?

There are already hundreds of AI marketing tools.

But many of them solve one small part of the problem.

One tool for content.

Another for images.

Another for ads.

Another for analytics.

Another for audience research.

We wanted to explore something different:

What if AI could connect these pieces into one practical marketing workflow?

That's the problem we're working on.

Where we are right now

PersonaXpand is currently being developed and tested with real businesses.

We're still learning.

We're still changing things.

And we're definitely not claiming we've figured out marketing.

That's actually why I'm posting here.

I'd love feedback from people who have built SaaS products, run agencies, worked in marketing, or struggled with marketing their own startups.

A few things I'd love your opinion on:

  1. Would you trust an AI platform to recommend your marketing strategy?

  2. Where do you think AI marketing tools currently fall short?

  3. Would you prefer an AI that does most of the work, or one that recommends and keeps you in control?

  4. If you could automate ONE part of your marketing workflow, what would it be?

We're building PersonaXpand in public as much as possible, so I'll share what we learn along the way.

Brutal feedback is welcome.

“Tested with real businesses” is the part I’d dig into. What are those businesses actually relying on PersonaXpand for after the initial trial, and has any one part of the workflow emerged as clearly more valuable than the rest?
    1. 1

That’s a good question. From the businesses we’ve tested with so far, they’re mainly using PersonaXpand to save time on the day-to-day social media work, creating content, publishing it across platforms, and keeping up with engagement.

The strongest signal so far has been around the “create once and publish everywhere” workflow. It removes a lot of repetitive work, and the engagement side adds another layer of value.

We’re still testing this with more businesses, though, so I don’t want to claim we’ve found the one killer workflow yet. That’s actually one of the things we’re trying to validate right now.

That “create once and publish everywhere” signal is interesting. I’d be curious to see how it holds up across more businesses. If you’re open to it, what’s the best email to reach you on?

Question: If you could automate ONE part of your marketing workflow, what would it be? Reply: Creating and launching targeted marketing campaigns, from audience research to content and ads.

Definitely, Jaswanthd100, the campaign creation and launch process, from researching the audience to creating the content and setting up the ads. That’s where a lot of time goes.
