Payment Link
Stop chasing payments send a payment link, get paid in 6 min
One of the biggest problems for small businesses is not always making the sale. It is getting paid after the customer has already agreed to pay.
Many freelancers, tutors, tradespeople, agencies and service businesses still waste time sending bank details, waiting for transfers, following up manually and answering the same question: “How do I pay?”
That is the problem PaymentLink.io is trying to solve.
PaymentLink.io helps businesses create a clearer, more professional way to collect payments online. Instead of relying on slow manual processes, users can create branded payment links, share them via email, WhatsApp, SMS or messenger, and give customers a simple way to pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, where supported by Stripe.
The product is built around four core payment collection tools:
Payment Link: create a payment form or an itemised payment request and send it directly to a customer.
Payment Page: set up a branded payment page that remains open 24/7, allowing customers to pay when it suits them.
QR Code: accept in-person or in-store payments by letting customers scan and pay on their phones.
Micro E-commerce: sell fixed-price products, services, packages or sessions without building a full online store.
PaymentLink.io is not a payment processor. It sits on top of Stripe, so businesses connect their own Stripe account while PaymentLink.io focuses on the branded payment experience, the payment request workflow and customer-facing payment tools.
The goal is simple: help small businesses reduce the effort of chasing payments, look more professional and make it easier for customers to pay faster.
I would love feedback from other indie hackers, especially those building for freelancers, service businesses or local business owners.

The payment-link angle is useful because the product is solving the awkward part after the customer has already said yes. The branded payment page and micro-commerce pieces also make it more than just a Stripe link generator.
Thanks, that is exactly the gap we are trying to address. Once a customer has said yes, the payment step should feel clear and easy, rather than turning into bank details, follow-ups and "how do I pay?" messages.
The branded payment page and micro-commerce side matter to us because many small businesses need more than a basic payment link but don't need a full online store. Appreciate you spotting that positioning.
