MapaPro
B2B SaaS and geolocated directory for local services.
Hey everyone! I'm Diogo, a founder from Portugal. I'm building MapaPro, a dual digital infrastructure that acts as a geolocated directory for consumers (B2C) and a management SaaS for home service professionals (B2B).
My biggest hurdle was the classic marketplace dilemma: consumers won't use a platform without professionals, and professionals won't join without consumers.
Here is the "Supply First" strategy I used to hack my initial growth:
Web Scraping: I actively scraped public, unstructured directories to find local technicians.
B2B Value First: Instead of promising them imaginary clients, I offered them "Founding Member" status with free access to our internal management SaaS (invoicing, scheduling, quoting).
The Result: I populated the supply side with zero ad spend before ever opening the B2C doors.
I'm now starting to push the B2C consumer side. Has anyone here scaled a B2B2C marketplace? How did you manage your consumer acquisition cost (CAC) in the early days?
I'd love to hear your experiences or any harsh feedback you might have on the platform's current state!
About
I built MapaPro to solve the fragmentation of the local home services market. Traditional solutions focus only on connecting the client to the technician, completely ignoring the professional's administrative burden.
