I struggled with showcasing my skills on resumes and preparing confidently for interviews, and I realized many students and job seekers face the same problem.
That’s why I started building Jotlee - an AI-powered career platform designed to help people prepare for their career journey, from creating better resumes to practicing for real interviews.
We’re starting with tools for resumes, cover letters, ATS optimization and, most importantly, realistic AI interview simulations.
The goal is simple: make career preparation more practical, accessible and less stressful.
Jotlee is still early, and I’m building it step by step while learning what job seekers actually need. I’d love to see where this journey takes us.
After watching students and job seekers switch between multiple tools for resumes, cover letters, SOPs, interview prep, profile optimization, and headshots…
my co-founder and I decided to build Jotlee.
The goal is simple:
Create one AI-powered workspace for career preparation instead of forcing users to juggle 5–10 different tools.
Right now, we’ve launched the MVP with:

SOP creation
And we’re gradually expanding into:
interview prep
profile optimization
AI headshots
more career tools
We’re currently trying to validate:
which features users care about most
what part of the workflow feels most painful
whether people prefer one unified platform vs separate tools
One thing we're struggling with:
We’re getting impressions on social posts, but very low click-through/user traffic.

The May update had a useful signal in the low click-through despite impressions, but I’m curious what changed since then. Have you seen any evidence that one specific career workflow pulls users in more strongly than the broader “AI career platform” proposition?
Yes, the clearest signal so far is around interview preparation. Our AI Interview Simulator is getting stronger interest than the broader “AI career platform” proposition. We’re now testing whether making interviews the primary entry point improves activation and retention.
