EverReed
A personalized reading companion for discovering, tracking,
I’ve always loved books, especially long book series, but I kept running into the same problems: finding my next read and keeping track of everything I had already read, wanted to read, or was waiting to continue.
Most recommendations felt too generic, and I often had to use several different apps just to manage my reading. Eventually, I decided to build the app I wanted for myself.
That became EverReed—a reading companion that helps readers organize their library and TBR, track series, understand their reading taste, and discover books that feel more personal to them. Readers can also import their Goodreads or StoryGraph library and read their own EPUB and PDF books.
I’ve bootstrapped the project, and it recently launched on both iOS and Android. I’m now trying to learn how to reach the right readers, improve the first-time experience, and understand what will make people keep coming back.
I’d really appreciate honest feedback from other founders: does the value of the app feel clear, and what would you focus on first at this stage—getting more users, improving onboarding, or increasing retention?
