CoinPiling

I built the money lessons I never got

September 5, 2026 The personal finance maze

I grew up without much money, and no one ever taught me how to manage what little I had. So a few years ago I started building a tool just for myself — a way to track my finances and actually understand economics instead of guessing my way through life.

It started as a personal project. No plans to share it. Just something to fix my own blind spots.

But the more I used it, the more I realized: if this helped me, it could help other people who grew up the same way I did — figuring out money alone, with no map.

So I decided to put it out into the world. I wanted it to be completely free — that was the whole point, giving people what I never had. But hosting costs, legal compliance, and keeping it maintained long-term aren't free, so I added a small fee for premium features to keep the lights on. The core tool is still free.

This is Coinpiling. Built by someone who learned the hard way, for anyone else trying to learn too.

Would love for you to try it — and tell me what's missing.

The personal origin gives you a strong hypothesis, but I’d separate “this helped me” from “this is useful to others.” Have the users who tried Coinpiling come back on their own, and what are they returning to accomplish?
September 5, 2026 I would love to hear your stories

It seems like we're all trying to find our way to financial freedom, even though we're coming from different places. It can feel a bit lonely sometimes, and I'd love to hear your stories as I share mine so we can lift each other up.
