citAEOtion.AI
The GA for AI
They track prompts you made up.
We track the bots that showed up.
"The Other Guys" have you pick the prompts you want to rank for, then report how you place on them. Sounds useful until you ask the obvious question: you chose the prompt - how do you know a single real person ever types it? You don't. It's like asking Google to rank you for a long-tail keyword nobody searches, then hoping it sends you business.
citAEOtion doesn't track prompts you invented. We track the actual AI bots hitting your site - and we tell you exactly who, what, and which:
Who Visited
Every crawler, sorted into AI Training, AI Search, AI Assistant, and Data Scraper.
What Page
The exact pages each crawler hit, and how often.
Which Crawler
Not just "OpenAI" - which of their bots, by name.
Real visits. Real pages. Real bots, named and categorized. No prompts to babysit, no score to take on faith.
And it surfaces what prompts never can.
Real bot behavior exposes the weak points quietly killing your AI visibility:
Yoast settings - robots.txt - htaccess - sitemap - RSS feeds
The bots show you what's broken, on every URL. A prompt score can't see any of it.
The part that compounds
It doesn't just show you the bots.
It teaches you how to become the answer.
The crawler mix tells you whether you're being cited or just consumed. That tells you whether your framing is working. That tells you what to change - then you watch the search hits climb to prove it.
Measure→Learn→Reframe→Win
A prompt score tells you where you rank. citAEOtion tells you how to become the answer.
About
See which AI bots crawl your site, when they crawl it, and what they take. citAEOtion reads your real server traffic and classifies every crawler - GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Meta, Bingbot. No prompts to guess

What I found interesting is the distinction between measuring what people hope is happening and measuring what actually leaves evidence.
That shift changes the conversation from optimizing for a score to understanding real behavior, regardless of which metric ends up being most important.
