Biddo

Where rankings become competition.

September 11, 2026 I’m building a ranking platform where #1 can actually be taken from you

I’ve been building Biddo, a live competitive ranking platform.

The idea is simple:

Instead of voting for a static #1, users claim positions with credits.

Someone can challenge your position.
If they outbid you, they take your spot.
You can then come back and defend it.

I wanted to turn rankings from something passive into something competitive.

I’m starting with boards around:

  • AI Coding Tools
  • AI Assistants
  • Programming Languages
  • SEO Tools

The first real test is AI Coding Tools:
Claude Code vs Codex vs Cursor vs Copilot.

I’d love feedback from other indie hackers:

Would you personally use a ranking system where you can actually compete for #1?

  1. 1

The privacy and offline angle are useful, but trust seems like the harder test. Have early users actually relied on Glutensa to decide whether a product was safe to eat, or is validating accuracy and confidence still the main unknown?

Rankings are usually passive. Biddo makes them competitive. Claim your position, challenge others, defend your spot, and fight for #1.
