Zapier valued at $5 Billion

Saw this being discussed on hacker news and figured it would find some interest here. According to the article, shares in Zapier privately traded hands in January at a valuation of $5 billion. I knew Zapier was popular but had no idea they were in billion dollar territory & pulling $140 million ARR. That's wild.

I'm a long time programmer and honestly, no code wasn't even on my radar until I started frequenting IH a few months ago. I haven't tried it yet but have a couple of side projects in mind that could be a good fit and want to take a run at it when I get a chance. See what all the fuss is about :)

The interesting part is they ONLY raised $1.3 to get there. Sure not as cool as bootstrapping it, but incredibly impressive nonetheless!
