Will Threads kill Twitter?

This is a smart move by Meta. With how destructive Elon has been, along with Twitter outages, it's nice to see a new face in the social media scene (even though it is run by one of the biggest social media companies).
If you're building some sort of social media app, I do hope that this shows you there are users willing to leave Twitter to come to your app (potentially).

I can see that happening. I rather use this than twitter.
Many copy cat services have launched over the years. It is about the crowds. If there is NOT enough engagement it will fail. Time will tell. Yet the odds are against success.
