We have been testing different Personas for our unlimited design subscription at oneday.design
What industry has the most design needs? Which ones should we target first?
I also run an unlimited design subscription and what we've found is that every industry (for the most part) has specific design needs.
I think at your price point your targeting more B2B leaning customers.
For broad businesses maybe your brand comes on a little strong but at the same time while scanning your website is was very hard to understand what kind of ROI I can expect for buying a design.
Let's say I buy a design, how will I make my money back?
So you design/build me a shopify website, how do I start making my money back?
I really like your portfolio and I think hiding your portfolio could be lowering your conversions as the portfolio slides explain better how I can expect a ROI.
Outside of this I think with the service your offering you have a solution but the problem is pretty vast (you build websites to help improve conversions but you don't say who for or add proof on how you help a specific audience).
I think when considering an audience you should think about who you know or can reach that would be willing to buy and take it from their (even Facebook started with college students). If you're popular on a channel, community, or certain network you can offer this service to them and see how they respond or you could list different potential customer segments then cold outreach 100-250 from each category and analyze the results.
Hope this helps!
Interesting! This is super helpful.
We will be updating our website accordingly and starting with B2B Customers.
I agree with making it more specific so potential customers can better understand ROI.
