The tech field is not like carpentry where, the carpenter needs to build a new table for every customer.
Nor is it like marriage, where every man should have his own wife.
The tech field is a 'build once - share everywhere' society. If you create one software, you can share it with everyone in the world.
In such a field, the first person to build the software, owns the market; provided his software works well.
For example, since Whatsapp exists, who needs another whatsapp for communication?
If you want to build another whatsapp, who is going to delete the old whatsapp and use yours?.
This is why a lot of computer scientist find it hard to create something new in the world. Because almost all the programs they want to
build already exist.
That is why the app markets (playstore, istore, windows phone market) are dead.
Finding a job is also very difficult for IT guys, because what exactly can you do with computers, that the next IT person cannot do provided
he also took his studies serious?
One programmer can built Whatsapp if given enough time, and, adding new programmers
to complete a project usually delays the project altogether.
MY PROPOSED SOLUTION.
I propose that if someone in the future builds a market(for phones, computers, cars, etc) where IT guys can develop softwares for,
I suggets that individual programmers
not be allowed to build an app from start to finish. Rather, any app should be broken down into pieces
and each programmer should focus on completing a single piece of the app at a time and submit
his piece, before taking on another single piece.
The more pieces of the app there is, the more programmers out there will get something to do.
Just like how an object is a combination of ATOMS, a program, lets say: "a communication system for cars",
can be broken down into its simplest PROGRAMMATIC pieces.
This will enable
multiple programmers to work on this single application, each programmer takling one piece at a time.
After the application is completed by all the programmers that contributed to it, it is made available to the users. I
f any user pays for the app, the money generated, is divided into the total
number of PROGRAMMATIC pieces of the app,
and each programmer is paid according to the number of pieces of the app he built.
