Website builder for noncoders

Hi guys, what's the current trend for building a website on 2020 for noncoders? I need an editor/mac app for a friend of mine. Any idea?

Webflow sounds like a good bet for your designer friend - all visual drag drop. Some knowledge of html and css is useful

If your friend is looking to build a landing page https://carrd.co/ is very easy to use and cheap.

If they want to have the option to add more pages, more flexibility and have a blog they can use https://versoly.com/ - i built it :)

Most builders are used in the browser so you don't have to do updates etc.

It's hard to know without understanding what you are trying to build.

Building a website and I'll point you towards Webflow.

Build an editor/mac app, sounds like a whole different story.

My friend need to make a landing website, he is a designer but outside of web, and certainly he doesn’t code.

The Mac app editor thingy should be an alternative way to build with a native app instead of using a website builder. Like Dreamweaver, not sure If that’s still a thing today

Bubble will probably be your best bet for this. You would just build the app in Bubble and there are many videos and blogs that guide you through pushing it to the app store.
