Users coming, but then uninstalling

I'm having issues with my app, wondering if anyone else has had these problems in the past.

I released my first app last week and I'm still very excited about it. The issue now that I am having is that there are users actively finding my app on the app store, and downloading it.

However, the majority of these users are uninstalling it soon after.

This tells me:

  1. The problem is indeed an issue these users are seeking solutions for

  2. My product does not deliver the exact solution that these users need

I've reached out to all of these users who have uninstalled the app asking what went wrong, but I didn't get a reply.

How should I go about improving my product so it's more beneficial to these users?

It depends on the type of app it is. Can you let us know which niche it is and what’s it’s based around?

For example, if it was a game and people were uninstalling because of a bug, you can offer a free incentive for them to come back.

      It is a Shopify app.

I think that's a great idea. I am going to spend time improving the app. I have gotten feedback from a few users now on what should be changed/improved.

This is so exciting! I have amassed 10 users for Daily Deals. 80% churn rate. LETS GO!

In a browser extension developed there is API that allows you to open up a link (such as Google Form) when uninstalled. I got many feedback using this technique.
You may try to implement something like that.
