Hi everyone,
I run a ski season site + newsletter called Fresh Powder for digital nomads and seasonaires, created due to the frustration of outdated websites and lack of curated information when it came to booking a ski season in the French Alps.
The site is still pretty new, only 4 months in, and I've been working a lot of SEO - seems like there is always something to tweak.
But one thing I have seen a vast improvement in is the total number of impressions (see photo above) which I can attribute to expanding my keywords into individual pages.
For example, I had one page called "Ski Resort Airport Transfer" dedicated to all of the transportation services for different resorts. After reading a post from Harry's Marketing Examples, I created one page for each ski resort with the relevant transportation links, which became multiple pages i.e Morzine Airport Transfer, Val Thorens Airport Transfer.
Doing this vastly increased my impressions, although there is yet a lot of work to be done to improve the click-through rate - any tips are welcomed!
