No-code MVP App Market Testing - Any Tips?

Hi all,

I have completed my first no-code MVP for a mental wellbeing app. I'm now looking to test market fit and demand.

A few strategies I have implemented so far is creating a landing page with the goal of reaching 250 sign-ups, see here: https://www.subscribepage.com/thementalwellbeingapp. I feel 250 is ambitious but will give a good indicator of if there is a demand for this.

I've also begun emailing organisations and groups to ask for user testing, as this would give me direct feedback from ideal customers.

For those who have had experience taking an app/product from MVP stage to market, I would love to hear how you validated your idea and what, if anything, would you do differently?

Thanks,

Congrats on the inital work, love the topic and the visuals.

    Tips:

    1. You might want to consider adding an additional signup form right at the beginning. Otherwise users have to fully scroll down to sign up this is too long.

    2. Your CTA should be clearer something like "Join Waitlist" "Get early access"

    3. You might want to focus on the user benefit at the end instead of

DON'T MISS OUR LAUNCH (Company Focused) -> Take care of your mental well being now (User Benefit Focused)

But 3.is just my personal view. There are so many launches, focusing on the user benefit will help you stick out

I would like to understand, how you came up with the number of 250 ?

    I would like to know

    Who is your target audience?
    What is your launch strategy?
How are you planning to monetize?

Thank you so much for your reply :)

I've implemented the tips, good call. I'm facing limitations with adding a signup at the beginning due to the template design - however, the button is anchored so users don't have to scroll.

250 - I have milestones that I'm ticking off that lead to 250. Chose this number as I thought it was ambitions but not impossible, and would give a good indicator of interest.

Target audience: from 16-35 year olds who have begun to feel a change in their mental wellbeing.

Launch strategy: At the moment I'm focusing on testing, as to launch this I'm potentially looking at funding/grants to help build MVP into a coded app.

Monetisation: I've got a few options but still thinking what would be best. I want to try and gain sponsorships, but would also be relying on in-app purchases too.

        Nice

@Target Audience, Launch & Monetization, understood.

I would (once again ;) question the number 250

Without context the number is interchangeable that's why I've asked the questions.

If you have 100 visitors and 80 signups the numbers are amazing (80% conversion rate), but would fail your goal.
If you have 10,000 visitors and 250 signup the goal is reached, but the conversion rate is very low (2,5%).

To be honest I would suggest trying to focus on a conversion rater, rather than a specific number.
That is why I asked about your target audience and launch.

You are asking for email addresses which can be a good first indicator, but is not a high involving indicator (a lot of people register for many services, especially younger people).

In my opinion you should aim at at least 5%(minimum) - 10%(very good) conversion rate visitor to lead.

        converion rates

This makes sense, my conversion rate at the moment is around 12% which is decent.

I will definitely look to measure based on this - thanks so much for your help :)
