Nnums week 7

I made the goal of getting nnums up and usable remotely for personal testing by today.

I did that and I also added a first automated test that runs continuously to monitor nnums and its availability and performance. So that feels pretty good -- now I have something to play with and use and optimize until I've got something worth sharing more generally.
