I won't lie and say I don't have hopes for it.

"I won't lie and say I don't have hopes for it. I do. I really like the idea of being my own boss. And I like seeing how my decisions affect my business. So I hope that, over time, I can generate enough revenue from my side project to work on it full-time. I mean, it's not that this is my goal and, once I do it, I'm going to be happier. I want it, but I have hesitations. Sometimes I feel like, maybe, keeping it as a side project could be a better idea. I really like socializing with other people and working with my coworkers. How would I get to the point where I can have coworkers? That's one reason I'm hesitant. The second is... I dunno. I don't really love taking risks. I wonder if it's better to just carry on on this path for as long as I can. Because when the day comes that I'm just my own boss and this is the main project I'm working on, well it's just going to be a little bit scary. You know, what if I lose my business? What if I lose my customers? Having a full-time job gives me the safety of knowing that if something goes wrong with the side business, it's not going to be the end of the world — I can still pay my rent and get started on something else."
