I made $36 from a Twitter Web app

I've been into ~8 months in to building Kizie.co, a full-fledged Twitter app for Web with features like reader mode, undo-tweet, thread writer, quick media preview and more.

Yearly report for Kizie and what went into it:

🔴 Invested:
$38 – domain from Godaddy(2 years)
$96 – analytics(Yearly pricing), Pirsch Analytics

Total: $134

🟢 Profit:
$24 from one user of 6 months
$12 from 2 users subscribed this month

Total: $36

The biggest investment so far is all the time I've dedicated in building this app. The result is not as good I expected it to be, past week I've seen only 40 new signups and about ~500 active users.

Also I can see more charges incoming in terms of Vercel's Pro plan etc. and I guess that's fine as long as I also get new subscribers to cover these monthly cost.

Kizie has 1200+ users only 3 of which are on Pro plan. Not a good stat, here's how I see it:

I've been able to build this app single-handedly with inputs from friends, on weekends, on top of a full-time job, while handling all the situations life's been throwing at me 😅
