Hi Indie Hackers!
This month I launched a new website - https://hotfixo.com
This website is basically a job board for software developers. You are right, there are many competitors and I know about that 😊
However, I know this industry, I have passion about that, and perhaps I know how to build a really good website. But I will do that later because of very limited time. As of now, I just launched a simple website with some basic functionality.
What’s next?
I had a bunch of different websites / startups and almost all of them failed. However, three of them were a bit successful.
Why? I think that’s because I invested a lot into marketing. So, with Hotfixo I decided to focus on marketing rather than on amount of features.
The issue is that I know software development quite well, but marketing is still something new to me.
Why I post this information here?
I want to build on public. I want to share everything about my journey and I also want to get some feedback.
Goals
I don’t care about revenue right now. I focus on the following:
It’s difficult to measure how to build a really good website, but I can measure whether my marketing actions are efficient. So, I set the following goal:
To have 100 unique visitors per month by the end of August.
I have almost 3 months I think this goal is quite realistic. Anyway, I will try to post some updates here every month.
Feel free to share any thoughts.
p.s. still not sure whether Hotfixo is a good name, let me know what you think 😊
Have a good day indie hacker!
