Stop relying on other people to tell you how to make it.
I do not know anything but i learned by observing, experimenting, etc. the truth is: no one knows anything. Some people may or may not have good tidbits on how to succeed. I've taken many random tweets with some oft hand knowledge, experimented with it, some really succeed and some did not.
The truth is and I tell you this as someone who is doing quite well, and someone who know's the bs'ers: no one knows anything.
So we circle back to the question, okay how do you make it? The answer is be willing to learn and more importantly, experiment. Reading a thousand books and watching a thousand podcasts doesn't make you successful.
The way to make it in my honest opinion, the best advice I can give you is: have an unstoppable will. Every person that I've ever met that was crazy successful had one thing in common -- irreconcilable willpower, you could not tell them no.
They could have the stupidest idea in the world but you couldn't push them off of it. They were either going to fail and move on, or succeed and become rich. So the lesson here: Do not take no for an answer, be willing to fail and fail big, over and over again, until you hit it big. Learn lessons along the way. If you do this, I am more confident that you will succeed more than if I gave you some marketing tips or something else.
This is a core trait to your future success.
