I'm really looking for a tool that will let me 1. Get email leads from a company website that I'm on and then 2. Email them with a predefined template automatically.
I currently have to use two different services for these (one tool to only acquire emails, which I then have to export and then import into a mass emailing tool). It would be much better to have these two important services be one tool.
Not specifically Indie Hacker tools, but here are two tools/tool types that I believe are generally over-priced.
I would likely use #1 first, but eventually #2 as well.
Most of the other tools I've personally used in my online businesses seem fairly priced for the amount of functionality they provide.
Separately, I've recently wanted the ability to simply watch a page for a change and be notified via some alert (email, indicator in browser, push notification). I know there are some tools that do this already, but not sure if they have the ability to do it while on a specific page.
For example, I'd like to "watch" this page on IH for updates (because I can't find a way here to follow a post). Then if someone else posted an update, I could be notified of it.
Ideally I'd like to do it using some button in my Chrome browser. Just visit a webpage, click on a button in my browser to watch/follow that specific page, and that's it. Maybe choose a frequency (instant, hourly, daily, weekly).

I second an Ahrefs type of SEO app. They are very expensive. A cheaper, yet good alternative could be very popular.
What do people use ahrefs for? I don't do SEO so forgive my ignorance, but do you just use it for keyword research or does it provide more than that? Because doesn't google have a keyword research tool too that's free?
Ahrefs is for keyword research, competitor analysis, backlink research, site audits, domain strength, rank tracking, and basically everything related to getting content found in search engines. Ahrefs is widely regarded as the best tool available and it presents the data in a way that is much more useful than Google keyword planner, but it is expensive.
