Democratizing the Pitch Deck

One of the biggest problems that I had when developing my startup years ago was exactly who to send my pitch deck to and if I was sending it to everyone available within the right investment industry. What I didn't know was that there are levels within the VC firm and when you submit your pitch deck via the intake form, you're actually sending it to the gatekeeper who is very often the newest and youngest member on the team.
After learning this I realized that founders have to educate them in order for the scout to then take that startup idea to the GP. It's a process that isn't really talked about and because of that founders waste a lot of time and energy filling out a lot of intake forms without adding in the right info and the only feedback they get is an email saying "no".
That's what made me think of Founder Meets Capital, a way for founders to be sure that they are putting their best foot forward when meeting investors. Our goal is to allow for honest investor-level feedback and then allow founders to submit their pitch deck one time and FMC sends that out with our seal of approval to all of the investment ecosystems.

What else would be great to add to our vertical?
