Can Stripe data help founders spot growth problems earlier?

I’m building an early MVP for SaaS founders and would love feedback from people thinking about growth.

The problem I’m exploring:

When founders think about growth, they often look at top-level numbers like MRR, new customers, or churn.

But the real story is usually messier.

For example:

  • MRR might be growing, but new customer revenue is slowing
  • expansion revenue might hide weak acquisition
  • churn might not be the biggest issue yet
  • failed payments might quietly reduce growth
  • one good metric might make the business look healthier than it is

Stripe already contains a lot of these signals.

But it does not really tell a founder:

“What is the real growth problem, and what should I focus on next?”

So I’m building SaaSfit.

It turns Stripe billing data into a short diagnosis report for SaaS founders.

Not another analytics dashboard.

More like:

  • what changed
  • what looks risky
  • whether acquisition, churn, expansion, or payment issues need attention
  • what to focus on next
  • what not to do

For example, instead of only showing:

“MRR increased 4%”

SaaSfit might say:

“MRR is still growing, but new customer revenue and new customers are slowing. Growth may be relying too much on expansion from existing customers.”

I have an early MVP here:

https://saasfit.up.railway.app/reports/scenario_billing_leakage

It opens directly to a full sample diagnosis report, so you can review it without connecting Stripe or uploading anything.

I’m trying to validate whether this kind of report would help SaaS founders find the right growth problem faster.

I’d really appreciate feedback, especially:

  1. Does the report help identify what growth issue matters most?
  2. Does it feel useful for deciding what to focus on next?
  3. What feels missing, confusing, or unnecessary?
  4. Would you ever connect Stripe for this if the diagnosis was good enough?

Critical feedback is very welcome.

Quick clarification: you don’t need to connect Stripe or upload anything to check the MVP.

The link opens directly to a sample SaaSfit diagnosis report using demo data.

At this stage I’m only trying to learn whether the report itself is useful enough for SaaS founders — especially the diagnosis, recommended actions, and “what not to do” parts.
