Calling all developers!
I have set up a tool to help software developers who want to improve their soft skills.
It's a bunch of exercises to help them grow various skills, including communication and productivity. This is based on what I have learned, I have been a developer for 13 years and I have a personal interest in growing my soft skills.
My original validation showed that developers want to improve their soft skills, and I have no issue getting users to the landing page (eg LinkedIn posts ). From the landing page, I also have a decent CTR to the web app, and I have been able to improve it with copy changes.
So, quite a lot of people check out the tool. But very few really try it out (eg click on an exercise to fully view it). So, it seems, first impressions don't live up to their expectations.
I have a number of ideas on what to work on next. But I can't help thinking my instinct may be off, because it's kind of hard to guess what first impressions may be (I'm too close to it now to view it with "fresh eyes").
So, without influencing you by detailing what my ideas are, I would be much grateful if you could try it, then write a comment explaining your first impressions.
