Big companies/individuals with pretty basic developing stacks

I'm looking for examples of companies / individuals that succeeded regardless of the technology or stack they were using.

I believe this is quite motivating and brings us down to earth. It helps us realise that what matters is not the how, but the result. The value we provide.

@levelsio is a great example of this, creating an 80K/month business with a single PHP file.
