As a indie dev how do you plan your work?

Hey IH, I'm curious how y'all work on an app or a feature of your app? How do you plan it and execute it all by yourself?

If you're making a re-design of your app, how will go about that?

I start with some kind of scope. Then I make rough mockups on paper for the important bits. Look at the scope again. Adjust. Then start coding and correct course along the way.

I try to keep each project at less than 4 weeks and preferably less than 2 weeks.

You can spent 15-30 min to set some goals and expectations. Or expand that effort into work breakdown estimates. Have the high level milestone weekly goal will help you adjust your time appropriately

As a dev turned entrepreneur one of the hards mindset shift was to tune down my developer will of building tons of features and amp up my "business brain". For every product, I build I follow the steps in this guide. So I only really start building after doing a lot of previous work and research. Then I define the MVP features and try to make them happened in the fastest way possible
