Application around Spotify
Hi,
I think about improving my skills in developing desktop applications and doing a more rich portfolio. I came up with the idea of a custom Spotify application. There are many areas in which music player could be fitted in like productivity, wellness, and so on.
What do you think - worth trying?

This sounds like an ambitious and fun project to take on that would be amazing for a portfolio!
I'd document your process from start to finish and include it in your portfolio as well - how'd you design the app, how'd you use the Spotify API (if that's the plan), which framework/language did you use to build the app and why, etc.
Good point about documenting development. After finish, it's hard to describe the process.
Yeah, doesn't have to be a ton, but some screenshots here and there, good git commits, notes on what you struggled with and learned, etc. will make it really easy to create a case study/blog post afterwards.
