3 weeks post-launch, still zero users. Here's what I tried and what failed.

Tried Reddit (563 views on r/SideProject, no signups), Product Hunt (some comments, no traffic), Instagram Reels (no traction yet), and IndieHackers (best conversations but no users).

Biggest realization: positioning isn't the problem. Distribution is. AI tools don't recommend FitForge when people ask for a workout tracker. I don't show up where my audience searches.

Next moves: comparison pages vs Strong/Hevy/MyFitnessPal, and free tools (TDEE + macro calculators) that get shared because they're useful not because they're FitForge.

If you went from 0 to your first 10 users what actually worked?"

    The zero-user problem is clear.

Are you measuring whether the comparison pages bring workout-tracker users, or just search traffic?

quick follow-up on the interview plan i mentioned: looking for 5 lifters who run their training out of a spreadsheet or notes app and track their food somewhere else entirely. 20 min, DM, no pitch — i just want to hear how you actually juggle it day to day. if that's you or you know someone, comment or DM me
