September 9, 2026 50Toolbox is live — 50 small tools, one simple website

I’ve been working on a small project called 50Toolbox, and it’s finally live.

The concept is simple: useful tools shouldn’t be scattered across dozens of websites.

So I put 50 of them together in one place.

You can use 50Toolbox for things like:

• Calculating age, BMI, percentages, loans and interest

• Compressing, resizing and converting images

• Merging, splitting and compressing PDFs

• Counting and transforming text

• Generating passwords, UUIDs, QR codes and random numbers

• Converting units, currencies, temperatures and measurements

• Formatting and validating JSON

• Encoding/decoding URLs and Base64

• Minifying HTML, CSS and JavaScript

• And several other everyday utilities

The best part is that the tools are designed to be quick and straightforward — open the tool, do the task, and you're done.

This is still an early project, so I'm interested in learning what people actually find useful.

September 9, 2026 🚀 Introducing 50Toolbox — 50 Useful Tools in One Place,

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m excited to introduce 50Toolbox, a simple collection of free, browser-based tools designed to make everyday tasks faster and easier.

Instead of searching for a different website every time you need to compress an image, calculate something, convert a file, format JSON, or generate a QR code, 50Toolbox brings 50 focused tools together in one place.

🛠️ What can you do with 50Toolbox?

• Image compression, resizing, cropping & conversion

• PDF merging, splitting, compression & conversion

• Age, percentage, loan, mortgage & interest calculators

• Word, character & sentence counters

• Password & UUID generators

• QR code generation & scanning

• JSON formatting & validation

• URL & Base64 encoding/decoding

• Color picking & conversion

• Timers, stopwatch & date tools

• Unit, temperature, length & weight conversion

• HTML/CSS/JS minification

• And more.

🎯 Why I built it

I wanted something simple, fast and practical.

No complicated dashboards. No unnecessary features. Just open the tool you need, do what you came to do, and move on.

The goal is to make 50Toolbox a useful toolkit that people can bookmark and return to whenever they need it.

This is an early version, so I’d really appreciate feedback.

What tool would you want me to add next? 👇

I absolutely love the idea — the notion of "one bookmark, all the small tools" really hits home as a common frustration. Right now, I probably have around five different "tool" websites saved in my bookmarks.

There's one tool I've been on the lookout for, but surprisingly, it's quite elusive: a study session timer that comes with built-in break reminders. I'm not talking about Pomodoro timers, which I find too rigid; I just want something that lets me set "study for 45 minutes, then take a 10-minute break" and keeps track of my total daily focus time.

Most timers out there are either too basic (just a simple countdown) or too elaborate (full-on project management systems). Actually, I ended up creating my own because I couldn't find one that suited my preferences — it's a feature within my study planner app, Clutch. The focus timer is, without a doubt, the most frequently used feature.

Just a quick note of feedback on 50Toolbox: the landing page looks really neat and tidy, but I think it would be great to have categories or a search function right on the homepage. With 50 tools to choose from, scrolling through them all can be a bit overwhelming when you just need to quickly convert a PDF. Maybe adding a "most used" section that adapts based on your usage history could be helpful? Also, have you considered adding a QR code generator that allows for custom colors and logos?

Basic QR code generators are a dime a dozen, but creating branded QR codes for free can still be surprisingly tricky. Great project overall, and it's definitely going in my bookmarks! 🔖

September 9, 2026 Why I decided to build 50Toolbox

One thing I noticed while using the internet is how often a simple task turns into a search for the right tool.

Need to resize an image? Search for a tool.

Need to convert a PDF? Search again.

Need to calculate something? Open another website.

Need to format JSON or generate a password? Another search.

I thought: why not put many of these small utilities in one place?

That’s how 50Toolbox started.

50Toolbox is a collection of 50 simple browser-based tools for everyday tasks — calculators, image tools, PDF tools, text utilities, converters, developer tools, generators and more.

The idea isn't to build something complicated. I want it to be the kind of website you bookmark and think of whenever you need to get a small task done quickly.

It’s still early, and I’m improving it as I go.

If you had to add ONE tool to 50Toolbox that isn't there yet, what would it be?

I'd love to hear your suggestions. 👇

About

I built 50Toolbox because everyday tasks often require searching through multiple websites to find the right tool. I wanted to create one simple, fast and easy-to-use place where anyone can access useful tools without un
