The U.S. civil justice system doesn't work. 78% of Americans can't afford or don't know where to find professional help with their legal problems, which means they can't activate the protections of our laws. They're vulnerable to abuse by stronger parties like landlords, employers, governments, etc. The reason for this is pretty much: lawyers are too expensive. The average cost of a lawyer in the U.S. is $267 per hour! My startup is building automated legal services so people can use the legal system even if they don't have a lawyer. We don't think 200 million Americans should be priced out of justice.
Oh, I'm Ethan. I have a JD and MBA from Columbia University. I'm an attorney. But not your attorney. I'm also a (self) published musician.
